- Monday's recipe :)
- Skirt Steak with mustard sauce
- What you need:
- 4 6-oz. skirt steaks
- Salt and pepper (I used steak seasoning in lieu of pepper)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 3/4 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- 3 tablespoons grainy mustard
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1. Sprinkle steaks with salt and pepper. Warm oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add steaks and cook, turning once, about 4 minutes total for medium-rare.(Cook until well done if eating later.) Transfer to a plate, and cover loosely with foil to keep warm.
- 2. Wipe skillet with a paper towel and add broth. Bring to a boil and cook until reduced by half, about 5 minutes. Remove pan from heat and whisk in mustard and butter. Season with salt and pepper, spoon over steaks, and serve.
This is my lunch today. It is so yummy. If you like A1 you will like the mustard sauce. I also made the baked potato.
