Last night after talking about my fitness routine with James, I decided to sign up for two marathons in our area. I had no idea our little town hosted a Boston-Qualifier full marathon. Now I'm excited to run tomorrow. It's not until October of this year but there is a half marathon in March that I'm interested in. Running a marathon has always been on my list of things I want to do. I've seen documentaries of women and men crossing the finish line and collapsing in tears so proud of themselves, in shock and awe at what they accomplished;what seems like the impossible. A couple of years ago I got involved with Team In Training, the Leukemia Society but was unable to be apart of the team because I didn't raise enough money. I was unmotivated and scared to go alone to San Antonio and race by myself. This time I feel I have the perfect opportunity. I have loads of down time and there's one in our area. So I'm just going to go for it. I mean I'm that close, no excuses this time. I'm excited and I can't wait to start.
