I'm really happy today! James still has to work today but I'm happy that things seem to be looking up for us. The last two years we have had nothing but horrible luck and it seems that it's finally turning around. From getting our car incorrectly towed while out of town and being car-less to coming home for Thanksgiving and seeing James' jeep damaged from a hit-and-run; we've been through it all it seems. I'm confident now that nothing can phase us or separate us and June 29, 2012 could not come sooner! I've been waiting 26 years for this moment and no matter how it comes together, I finally get to marry my best friend. Planning our wedding has been interesting and I'm grateful we have such awesome family and friends to help us along the way. Big shout-out to Meranda, Mary, Rick, My new mom, Connie, my grandparents and of course Richard for agreeing to marry us crazies! :) None of this would be possible without them and I can't wait to pay it forward and help someone else with their wedding.

I'm also slowly getting over the hurt that someone caused me. I forgive them but I'm sure our friendship won't ever be the same and I'll never be able to trust them ever again. I'm the kind of girl that wears her heart on her sleeve, which makes it more vulnerable to damages. When I love I love with all I have and when you hurt or disappointed me, I take it hard. I'm usually an open book but what I've learned from this situation is to guard my feelings a little more closely and perhaps not be so trusting. It sounds bad but sometimes it's necessary because people are not always who they seem to be. I know that God will guide me through this as he has everything else and "This too shall pass."
